Khowarib is located between Palmwag and Sesfontein, close to Warmquelle on the C 43 Khowarib Lodge nestles on the banks of the Hoanib river in the magnificent Khowarib Gorge in north west Namibia.14 canvas chalets project out from the river bank on stilts over the river bed providing unrivalled, shady views of the cliffs opposite. On the fringe of Kaokoland, the lodge offers a perfect jumping off point to explore the remote north west of the country, either independently or on one of the lodge’s extensive guided tours. The immediate surrounding area of Damaraland has many rich and interesting activities including desert adapted elephant and Himba settlements within easy reach. Camping guests have full access to all lodge facilities and are welcomed at the Bar, Restaurant, Swimming Pool, Curio shop, Laundry and Activities.

Campers who would like to enjoy dinner at the lodge should however pre-book their dinner before 16:00 and is subject to availability. Camping Rate is N$ 300 pp per Night Other Accommodation: Family Chalet (Kliphuis 4ppl)

In addition to the outstanding natural beauty of this location, there are many other tours and attractions for guests. For example:
