Kalahari Desert

Note: This is a general Kalahari Desert region entry (Aroab area) rather than one specific campsite.

Directions: Aroab is on the C11, about 35 km from the Rietfontein border post with South Africa.

Few formal resorts in this immediate area – camping is mostly available through 4×4/safari/hunting operators at farm homesteads along the C11 towards Koës.

Activities: Game viewing (kudu, gemsbok, springbok, aardwolf, bat-eared fox), guided Kalahari excursions.
