It is your home away from home, with two fully equipped kitchens to cook your favourite meal or store your take away from any of the many nearby restaurants. It is a relaxing environment with several trees, grass and birds singing all around you. Some of you will sleep late and then have a leisurely breakfast outside in the sun, and then maybe go out in the evening for dinner.

Others of you will want something special for breakfast and then use our braai (BBQ) and have dinner with some of the new friends you made here at Desert Sky.

Electricity/ Wash Basin/ Hot Shower – Campsites have Grass for the Groundtents and Shade nets for the Cars

Buffalo Room – 1 Queen bed, Rhino Room – 2 Twin beds. We also have a “Home Safari” in our 4 bedroom home. You can choose between the Zebra, Giraffe, Leopard or Elephant rooms. The biggest room, the Elephant room, has its own private bathroom. While the Zebra, Giraffe, and Leopard share a bathroom. There is a fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, electric kettle, pots, pans, and dishes. The living room has a soft couch with a smart TV. While the spacious dining room has a table that seats up to 7. We have two comfortable dorm rooms and you have a choice of Dorm 1 which has a queen bed and 2 bunk beds which sleeps up to 6 people.

Dorm 2 has 2 twin beds and 2 bunk beds which also slides up to 6 people. There are separate men and women’s ablutions. There is a fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, electric kettle, pots, pans, and dishes.Outside and inside the kitchen there are areas to sit and enjoy Swakopmund’s weather.

In 2025 we will celebrate our 25th silver anniversary! When you arrive, our registration office has plenty of flyers for you to look through. We are registered with the Namibian Tourism Board and can book many of the fun activities that are in the surrounding area. Rates: N$ 180 pp per night & Children up to 10 Years pay N$ 90 and Kids under 5 stay for free OTHER ACCOMMODATION: Come stay in our cozy 2 bedroom flat in either the Rhino room or Buffalo room. You have a shared bathroom and a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, and toaster with pots, pans, and dishes.
