Under a giant wild fig tree with emerald green water meandering past a piece of paradise has been claimed and called Camp Cornie. This rustic camp on the banks of the Kunene river offers the coldest beer in this remote region. Camp Cornie is equipped to make your experience most enjoyable and comfortable, with solar electricity and outlets at each campsite for your comfort. We also offer tented accommodation with an en-suite bathroom and tented accommodation with separate ablution facilities. A perfect variety to choose from that will provide you with a memorable and comfortable camping experience. A visit to Camp Cornie will definitely be a highlight for your camping adventure. While enjoying your visit at Camp Cornie you can search for giant crocodiles on the rivers white sand banks, throw in a line and see how many of the 61 different species of fish you can catch or search for the beautiful and abundant bird life, as well as a tour to the local Himba village. All this while you sip a cold beer at the swimming pool or bar with access to WIFI.
